It all started with a broken iPhone 3G, YouTube, and some free time. It all evolved from there. I started Wobot mainly because I was unable to take my dog Dadgit to work with me. But it was clear at the time, the industry was in need of a catalyst.

I’ve earned two bachelor degrees from the University of Utah, and a certificate from the Wireless Repair Training Center in NYC. In the phone industry I’ve worked under Asurion and Diamond Wireless, two of the largest phone insurance providers nationwide. Outside of phones, I’ve worked in mining, in the pool industry, in architectural glass, and in road building.

I left my corporate job in 2024 to focus on Wobot full time and, on April 2025 we won, Best Electronic Repair Shop in SLC. My goal is to provide a unique experience and a feeling of safety when handing over your most precious gadget.
