It all started with a broken iPhone 3G, a YouTube video, and some free time. Then it evolved from there. At the time I started Wobot, I was mostly plagued by the fact I wasn’t able to take my dog to work with me. But it was clear at the time that the industry was in need of a catalyst.

I’ve earned two bachelor degrees from the University of Utah, and a repair certificate from the Wireless Repair Training Center in NYC. In the phone industry I’ve worked for Asurion as well as Diamond Wireless, the two largest phone insurance providers nationwide. Outside of phones, I’ve worked in mining, in the pool industry, in architectural glass, and in road building.

I left my full-time corporate job in 2024 to focus on Wobot full time and, on April 2025 we won Salt Lake’s Best Electronic Repair Shop

Professionally, I am sought out for my broad expertise and multiple specialties. Currently I split my time between some white collar work, some blue collar work, and running this business.
